Zenless Zone Zero Tier List (ZZZ) – February 2026

Zenless Zone Zero isn’t short on characters, and if you’re new or returning, it can be hard to tell who’s actually worth using. Some agents can make you feel great at first, then the feeling gradually goes down. Others may stay strong across most metas, even after balance changes.

This Zenless Zone Zero tier list for February 2026 is here to help you get a clear picture of which characters can be great overall or more situational. No hype, no “every character is imbalanced” talk. Pure about how they actually feel in real gameplay.

This list is updated as new characters and balance patches arrive, so expect changes over time.

Zenless Zone Zero Tier List Explained

The rankings below are based on:

  • Overall performance across story, endgame, and events
  • Ease of use and consistency
  • Team flexibility
  • How much investment they need to feel good

Tier lists aren’t law. You can clear content with most characters if you build them properly. This is just a shortcut for deciding who to prioritize.

Latest Tier List Update

  • Added Ye Shunguang (S-rank)
  • Added Zhao (S-rank)

Both are strong additions, but their exact placement may shift as more players test them in harder content.

Upcoming Zenless Zone Zero Characters

These characters have appeared in trailers, drip marketing, or in-game references but aren’t playable yet:

  • Sunna
  • Aria

There are also a few unreleased characters floating around promotional material, including some V-tuber-inspired designs. Once they become playable, they’ll be added to the tier list.

Is Zenless Zone Zero Rerolling Worth It?

Short answer: not really.

Yes, you can reroll in Zenless Zone Zero, but it’s time-consuming and awkward. You’ll need multiple email accounts, and the standard S-rank pool is large, which means the odds aren’t great.

More importantly, the game gives you:

  • Around 100 free pulls early on
  • A free S-rank character of your choice later

Because of that, rerolling usually isn’t worth the effort unless you’re extremely set on starting with a specific character.

How to Reroll in ZZZ (If You Insist)

  1. Play until Inter-Knot level 5
  2. Unlock the gacha system
  3. Use your discounted pulls
  4. If you don’t like the results, log out
  5. Create a new account with a different email
  6. Repeat

Again, this is optional and mostly unnecessary.

Which Free S-Rank Character Should You Choose?

After 300 pulls on the standard banner, you can select one free S-rank agent from the standard pool.

There’s no single “correct” choice here. Zenless Zone Zero doesn’t force strict team roles like some other HoYoverse games. Playstyle matters more than meta.

The best advice is simple: try them in the tutorial challenges and pick the one you enjoy playing.

That said, here’s a quick breakdown to help you decide.

Nekomata

Fast, physical, and mobile. She plays like an assassin, constantly repositioning and attacking from behind. Good if you like speed and aggression.

Koleda

A fire stun agent with a heavy, defensive feel. She pairs well with Ben and focuses on breaking enemies rather than pure damage.

Soldier 11

High fire damage with a timing-based kit. She rewards rhythm and precision. Once it clicks, she’s very satisfying to play.

Lycaon

An agent built around long combos and enemy control by stunning with ice. Perfect choice for disabling enemies, especially against enemies that are prone to ice.

Grace

A ranged agent with an electric anomaly. She is great at debuffing enemies and constantly moving while shooting. Perfect choice if you have a run-and-gun playstyle from a distance.

Rina

A support-focused agent with an electric element who feels like a mage. With high mobility, wide AoE damage, and strong team utility, Rina is great for players who like to control rather than just throwing hands.

How to Get More Characters in Zenless Zone Zero

Zenless Zone Zero is a gacha game, so most characters come from banners.

There are:

  • Standard banners
  • Limited-time character banners
  • Bangboo banners

Each banner has its own rates and pity system. If you want details on how pulls work, it’s worth checking a dedicated banner guide.

You’ll also get several characters for free just by playing:

  • Anby, Billy, and Nicole early on
  • Ben through story progress
  • Soukaku from completing the Eridu Frontier Event

Now You Will Choose

Zenless Zone Zero appreciates players who dedicate themselves to characters they enjoy playing rather than just trying to play every new release. Tier lists do help, but they can’t replace the comfort, mastery, and familiarity with a character’s kit.

Use this ZZZ tier list for February 2026 as a guide, not a rulebook. If a character feels good to play, they’re probably worth investing in.

When new agents drop or balance changes hit, this list will be updated.
