Most of the game\u2019s setting takes place in Lumiose City, which is currently undergoing a major urban redevelopment to create a better living environment for both humans and Pok\u00e9mon alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exploring the city feels even more dynamic this time around with a vertical traversal system, letting you run and leap across rooftops and scale Kalos like never before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But it\u2019s not all concrete and skyscrapers\u2014players can also head out into the Wild Zone, a sprawling area that mimics natural Pok\u00e9mon habitats. This is where you\u2019ll catch wild Pok\u00e9mon and battle them in the open world before tossing a Pok\u00e9 Ball their way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You play as a Pok\u00e9mon Trainer, sharpening your skills through engaging real-time battles. These allow for fluid movement and real-time commands during fights. There’s also a special Z-A Royale battle zone, which becomes available only at sunset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
