What are Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 Offenses?

itemku uses a tiered violation system where users face consequences based on the severity of the violation. Here are the violation levels that itemku enforces:

Level 1

Examples of Level 1 violations include:

  • Sellers sharing written information to communicate outside of itemku’s messaging system (such as WhatsApp, Line, etc.).

  • Selling products that don’t match their listed category (for example, selling an account under the item category), or offering product types not supported by itemku.

Sanction:
The listing involved will be removed, and in some cases, the shop may be temporarily suspended for up to 3 days.

Level 2

A Level 2 violation occurs when a user has received two Level 1 violation warnings.

Sanction:
The listing involved will be removed, and the shop could be temporarily suspended for up to 5 days.

Level 3

A Level 3 violation applies if a user has received three Level 1 violation warnings or commits a serious offense directly classified as Level 3, such as:

  • Expressing any willingness to conduct transactions outside of itemku.

  • Sending phishing links with the intent to commit fraud.

Sanction:
The itemku account involved will be permanently banned.

Notes:

  • If any of these violations occur, the user will receive the appropriate sanction right away.

  • Users will get warnings through the Message feature for Level 1 and Level 2 violations. For Level 3 violations, notifications will be sent via email.
