Q: Can I contact the seller before making a transaction?

A: You can contact the seller before making a transaction for certain types of products only, such as accounts or items. For convenience, if you see the message icon on the product page you are viewing, it means you can contact the seller before proceeding with the transaction.

Q: Why can’t I find or view messages from my previous transactions?

A: Messages on itemku are not stored permanently and have a retention period. As a result, you may no longer be able to access messages from older transactions. Currently, only transactions from 2024 onwards are still accessible to itemku users. Please make sure to back up or save any important information to other storage media.

 

Q: Why is part of my message text missing?

A: There are several reasons why part of your message may be hidden:

  • The communication contains phone numbers or contact details, which are not permitted. If such information is detected, our system will automatically hide it as a preventive measure to avoid communication outside of itemku that could potentially harm either the Buyer or the Seller.

  • The message contains offensive or inappropriate language, which is not allowed and therefore will not be displayed.

 

All itemku users are expected to comply with the applicable itemku Terms of Service to avoid any unwanted consequences, including when using the itemku messaging feature.
