Anime City reinvents classic visual novel mechanics by transferring them into full 3D environment. You will have to study in anime high school and engage in after school activities, while also interacting with various characters you meet throughout the game.

ANIME SIMULATOR

The game is focused on anime culture, carefully and authentically recreating various details of Japanese architecture, cuisine, fashion, and traditions.

SCHOOL AND CLUBS

In addition to attending regular school classes (history, physical education, Japanese language, cooking) you can choose to join one of after school clubs and perform tasks assigned by club leaders.

DATING

Throughout the game, you can meet several dateable characters, and ask them out on dates. Your success will depend on whether your stats meet their minimum expectations. You can pursue both girls and boys as your love interests. Depending on your choice of playable character, boy x girl, girl x girl, and boy x boy dates are possible.

SKILLS

Your character has a number of skills, affecting your personal stats, and your success on dates: fashion, cooking, science, sports, social, gardening, gaming, arts. Improving any of these skills will require engaging in specific school activities or after-school clubs.

CHARACTER AND CLOTHES CUSTOMIZATION

You can start to play as either girl or boy, with a range of parameters to customize, and a number of clothes and accessories to use.

SURVIVAL SIMULATOR

Your character has health, hunger, thirst, energy, and comfort stats. During the game, you'll have to balance limited resources and take care of your character's needs. If you neglect those, you can end up getting sick and will be taken to school infirmary to recover.

TIME OF YEAR

The game world is dynamic and will change according to current time of year. Some events and opportunities will be available only during specific periods.
